There I came across another article about VIMA 2010 for you guys to read from NST.

MALAYSIA’S independent music scene is not one to be scoffed at.
Despite the continuous complaints of a lack of support for our homegrown artistes, our underground musicians are thriving on passion for their art.

That much was proven last Sunday, at the Voize Independent Music Awards, held at The Mist, Bangsar, KL. The show was slated to start at 7.30pm and guests, media, VIPs, judges and musicians all trooped in, ready to rock.

Aptly themed “Indiecent”, the night kicked off with beatboxing from Kraft, MC Vandal and Young Stunna; whose Daft Punk-esque stylings elicited roars from the crowd.

Poseidon Connection then took to the stage, amping us all up energetic guitar riffs and freakin’ cool vocals. Apparently at VIMA, “mother” is only half a word.

The MCs for the night were C Loco, Moe Nasrul and the lovely Adrea Abdullah, who kept us informed and entertained with their wacky one-liners. "

I had recently got wind that my article for Majalah Remix came out in the June Issue! Thanks to my mom who bought a copy at a local magazine shop I got to get my hands on a copy.

Basically the angle for the article is how I managed to decrease my habit of smoking and how I started out in radio. Basically detailing how i started as the lead vocalist of a band and as fate would have it I got offered a job as a FLY FM Trooper, and the rest is history from there.

That and it got an awesome shot of me playing my twelve-string Guitar to my Friends, Aush and C.Loco along with two other girls(one of them was Nadia Heng from Salena and Co and the from Juvanex) that were there at New Zealand Natural Mid Valley Mega Mall.

I'm trying to get the photos that Aush took of us that day, so you guys can see the exclusive behind the scenes pictures of what went down that day :D

Had a surprise yesterday when i was reading through Malay Mail. My article came out and it detailed all about my career in radio. That and my time growing up in Hawaii and my love for the Malaysian culture :D

I'm Officially One of the Most Eligible Bachelor in Town

This was the message i got in my Facebook that made my heart palpitates.

Ecahz Mieqa and Moe Nasrul's Wall-to-Wall on Facebook.

It was then that i called up Basil (Fly FM DJ who were also selected for the competition) and told him that the new issue of Cleo is out.

He hasn't seen it yet.

I didn't want to jump my guns before i see the magazine. I smsed Aileen, Cleo's sub-editor, and she was playing coy and teasing me.

"I'm not telling...", she said. "Go and get the magazine. It's been out for three days".

I put my pants on and went on foot to the nearest seven-eleven.

YES! I saw Cleo with Britney Spears on the cover. I picked it up and was crestfallen. It's the MARCH issue. I need Miss April.

"Bro, is the new issue of Cleo out?", I asked the cashier with a tinge of desperation in my voice, willing the cashier to say yes.

"No not yet. slalu dalam tengah bulan baru ada".

What? I can't wait that long. I need to confirm it now!

I then went to Newsplus at the nearest LRT. While driving, i got an sms from Aileen that said "By the way, you look good in it :)".

I was already on the edge of my seat by the time i finished reading the sms.

Ran,ran,ran i went to the Newsplus store...

...and there it was...
