Few hours til vacation ends...

In twelve hours my vacation would have reached it's end.
It's back to the hustle and bussle that is my life 24-7 and 7 days a week. I'm glad i was able to have a week off and recharge my batteries so to speak. Definately something i recommend to everyone as such time allowed me to rest which is very important and in this period of rest really plan my days ahead.

Your probably like what? plan during your vacation? doesn't that defeat the purpose of having one to take your mind off of things. Well yes a vacation is supposed to take your mind off of things but when i said plan i didn't say i was planning my work. I was planning my life outside of work and things i wish to do with my girl and family.

You see like everybody there are a million and one things i wish to do before my time is up and kick the bucket. My career is one of them but i would love to be able to do the things i've always wanted to do, so i don't miss out on the important things...

That and i had the chance to learn a few methods from 7 habits of highly effective people by Franklin Covey (All thanks to my lovely girl Emily) and i believe i would get back into the rat race with a brand new edge and energy :D Thanks Emily :) i'd be lost without you.

The flameless lantern...

Second day of my vacation and something happened when my girl and i were hanging out with her twin sister and her boyfriend along with friends where this very lantern stands. We decided to walk along the beach just me and my girl how we used to when we first met.

As We were walking on the beach to enjoy the peaceful scenery my girl stepped on something that was buried in sand. With mix feelings of suprise and curiousity we dug up the item finding that it was a hand phone. Some poor soul had dropped it.

We retreated back to the table where we told everyone what we found. We called the last number that had called the phone. The name 'poole' came up (I thought it was kinda wierd and funny name) A young guy with a thick australian accent answered.

"hello?"he said.

Without wasting time i said "hey dude did you lose a phone? We found it buried in the sand."

"yeah i did."he sounded happy and relieved.

"where were you sitting?"I asked

"somewhere to the far left on the beach...."perfect it was where we were sitting.

"perfect were at the same place look for a group of three girls and three guys. One wearing a white shirt..."that was what i was wearing "and one dude wearing a red shirt"

Ok it wasn't the best description ever given but it was the best i could do at this point of time.

"i'll be there" He said.

Not a even five minutes a young australian back packer roughly about twenty or maybe even younger showed up.

"hey dude lost a phone?" i said out loud to him. He turned to look at me and he smiled knowing that he found the table.

"hey thanks man yeah i was." i handed him the phone then he took out his wallet and pulled out a fifty:..everyone looked at me waiting to see what i would do. I was just as surprised as anyone else.

"it's okay bro." i said

"you sure?"He looked shocked.

"it's totally cool man." i have to be honest since it just happened not more then ten minuds ago....that was one of the most hardest decisions i had ever made. Why? Cause one i did a good deed yes but i felt that taking the money would taint it. I mean it was done with the best of intention and without any expectation of getting a reward. Taking the fifty would make it something that was fueled by the very force that makes the world such a bad place... Money.could i be strong enough to do Good without any monitary gain? Wouldn't that make the act the purest of it's kind? A truely selfless act? I hope karma would pay me back one day...cause i got an I.o.u for fifty bucks :p

Just arrived from Penang...Part 2

hmmm... no where did i leave off oh yeah...

on the LRT train...

Reached the LRT station Kelana Jaya to the exit and finally use the restroom... clean but not so clean... acceptable.

Thus it starts the walk home...

finally reached home about 7 o'clock...

slept at 7:30...

note: your probably wondering the heck do i walk and take public transport all the waywhen i could take the taxi and just be rushed off home in an instant... well you would never know the thrill and the feeling of doing something until you do it :D plus i'm in love with the open road... hence why i started off as a Fly Fm Trooper... sometimes i do miss the road... a road warrior at heart...

Just arrived from Penang...

Got of the bus at 4:23 am...this when the adventure starts...

went to a mamak restaurant at 4:30 ordered a nescafe ice and two roti telur...

read a book while waiting for order...5:00 my order arrives (so efficient i for got to laugh...

i'm saying this sarcastically)...

ate my roti and drank slowly as i finish reading my book and now half way finished...

call of nature attacks at 5:40 and no i'm not gonna get into details...

saw bathroom and thought to self 'no f#§king way'.terrible to even my standards (and my standards are quite low)...

5:43 paid and headed out for a cleaner territory...

found a hotel and asked 'where is the restroom?' and the reply was' it opens at six' i said 'what time is it now?' it was 5:55 and opening it early was a no go (kinda dum if you ask me)...

walk to lrt station and took picture of really cool and creepy alleyway (and to an extent show you i'm not lying)...

reached station...out of luck bathroom light not working and it looks even sacrier than the alley...got on train and started blogging...To be continued
