Hey peeps,

I'll leave you guys with a few radio ads that i did recently and currently enjoying airplay on FLY FM. So the next time when you here this ad on Fly FM, you know it's your homeboy Moe Nasrul :)

The movie trailer voice...

Photo Courtesy of Moe Nasrul's Personal collection

My movie trailer voice is really catching on! Kind funny that i originally did it as a joke.

I guess the joke is on me because now I'm doing so many VO's using the movie trailer voice! I just finished one at Incognito, a studio in Damansara Kim area for Transformer's sms contest.

Maybe one day I'll be doing a real movie trailer...coming soon

Brink Of Law

Yesterday Tsu Ann from 8tv had given me a call 10am in the morning and asked if i was free to do a voice over. I was more than happy to do it and when i arrived at the studio, which is only a couple of floors up from Fly Fm's studio i was briefed about my latest project.

I found out it's for a TV commercial for a show called Brink Of Law, a chinese series on 8TV. It was a real blast recording it because i tried different versions of the script and played around with my voice. Eventually, they went with the more 'hyper-active moe' version. Honesly i thought it would have been cool if they went with a more Preview Guy/Don Lafontaine approach but i guess they needed the youthful element as 8TV is targeted to the urban youth crowd.

Nonetheless here it is for your viewing pleasure. Leave a comment and tell me what you think :D

TVC: Who Wants To Be A Superhero?

I have done a whole lot of voice overs and every now an then i do get my voice put on a TV commercial. Here is one TV commercial i did for a show called "Who Wants To Be A Superhero" on 8TV in late 2008.

The cool thing about this VO was i got to play with the Mic settings to make my voice extra bassey, cause i wanted that Don Lafontaine/Preview guy growl tone :D i think it really fit with the visuals.

Do you think i nailed it?

Air Asia X Radio Ad: Ben London

I was going through my VO vault and i found my FIRST EVER Malay Radio Ad. This ad was played on Media Prima Malay radio station, Hot FM.

So what do you guys think?!!!!

Then of course, for my Hawaiian friends, Uplanders, and out-of-towners, you guys can listen to the English version of the radio ad and was aired on Fly FM, voiced by my fellow news and traffic presenter, Miss Alisha:

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share with you guys a clip of the voice over (VO) that i did in December 08. I know, i know it's a little out dated. But i'll try to upload my latest VO as soon as i can.

By the way, I record roughly around five VOs for Fly FM in a week, so what i'll try to do is i'll upload my best VO of the week on my blog for all of you to listen to, ok?

Cheers with no beers,
Moe Nasrul
