I did IT !!!

One of the things i dreaded the most when i started was doing a double shift... thats when i would have to work both the morning (Pagi Show) and the evening traffic on top of all the scripts and Promo adverts that i have to record... usually this only happens when Alisha gets sick, losses her voice or breaks something... well she actually tore three ligaments when she feel in the studio (thats why people say don't run in studio...sigh...)

So i had for week done a double shift... and it is finally over with the last traffic report coming out in less than ten minutes ( yes i'm writing this in between the traffic reports...talk about up to date :P )

then i'm off to a four day vacation ( cause i've been working for two weeks none stop...literally non-stop) in Penang with my nearest and dearest Emily !!!

well gotta go :D

Highlights of the day...

Another day has passed at the studio... about to clock out. Before i go i would like to highlight my day (or actually pass few days that really stand out when i think about it )

Bittersweet... long distance.

Alot has happened that i should be thankful for. For example, I had a chance to go to the Chelsea Vs Malaysia Selection game on the 29th and experience it live... despite me not being such a big fan...and it was part of my job ( i was updating through the phone line to Hafiz who was on air at that point).

I'm currently the Official voice of Fly Fm weekly Promotions, so my voice would be on-air more often and i'm getting more opportunities to do interviews with various artists and athletes , Local and Foreign... I almost interviewed Leona Lewis, but due to her being sick and cancelling all interviews that cut my progression short.

So much good is starting to happen career wise and i feel personal life wise Emily and I have gotten closer due to the distance. It also gave us time to focus on our respective lives and achieve things. For example Emily and Emilia starting up a charity drive and had raised Rm3000++ for St josephs Orphanage ( Check it out at emiliamills.blospot.com) ... and Emily is starting here 'Nuptales' biz where she writes custom newspapers for weddings. A pretty cool idea check that out at emilyism.blogspot.com.

All in all it has been so good. Of course the closeness of having someone close to you all the time is kinda void at the moment but learned how to get by... one day this long distance relationship would end and when that time comes we both would have achieved so much...

Newspaper...5 things that i find irritating when sharing it with others.

Okay i have to admit this post would be one of those "i-just-got-caught-in-the-moment-and-i -really-really-gotta-write-about" ... it all happened when i was reaching for the Star and News straight times newspaper... and hear are the annoying things i get irritated with when share a newspaper with either your colleges or housemates.

5) The pages are always bent, crumpled, dog-eared or articles are cut or ripped out.

Amazingly jammed day yesterday and this morning...

Everyday my job is to get the latest in traffic... and i tell you i hear the latest that goes on the roads of Malaysia.

Yesterday the jams within the City center were massive due to road blocks all over the city for two days and finally a blocking of Jalan Hang Tuah... and i don't have to elaborate why, the local newspapers such as the star has told it all.

but it makes me wonder... is this all necessary? must the people suffer by wasting more petrol being stuck in a jam causing even more pollution in our air? what is all this for really?

oh well...Is This Good For the People with Petrol Prices being high and all?

I had met the Trooper team earlier today or more like during the night as i was leaving for home. I had this sense of missing the team. Loved every minute i was on the job and there were lots of good memories.

it has been almost a full month since i had gotten the news and traffic job. Loving this job every minute of it and everybody has been very supportive and given me alot of good advice to help me do my job better.

Plus i've been doing alot of exercising (since i spend most of my time in studio now... the dangers of getting a huge belly draws closer and closer)thanks to Basil, Collin and Steve who regularly (or at the moment it seems) play basketball at a park near Basils place on Gasing Road (okay la Jalan Gasing).

well tomorrow is gonna be another day. Rocker and Roll Moe Nasrul out :D

Once a trooper now doing Traffic and News

Hello... as most of you guys now i'm no longer with the Fly Fm Myvi Troopers and now promoted to doing the News on weekend and traffic... Andrea the Fly Angel had filled in My shoes and is now the Captain of the Trooper team... although i may not be up and about my voice still rocks the air waves.
