MR messy-head and the colored hills... chapter 1

When i was younger (makes me feel old when i say this) i use to write stories and poems all the time. I had always considered myself an artistic soul using different mediums to tell a story be it song, the written text, or the colors of a palette. Sometimes you drift away from some skills that once had but lets look at this post as a return to my artist virtue of the written text. Ladies and Gentleman i present to you the chronicles of MR Messy-head and the colored hills.

In the curving roads of gray ash rock
a painter by the name of MR messy head,
sat alone enjoying his daily bread
pondering and wondering lost in thought

All passing never-looking and never asking
all quite and trotting along their own path
never stopping, even for awhile for a quick laugh
no other sound but the sound of shoes walking.

Then Mr messy-head's thoughts reached farther
to place where his thoughts never travelled before
ideas and dreams never once was he after
a place filled with colors so bright, the eyes it sore

In an instant that thought was lost
and back he was to the shades of grey
and sounds of shoes that play everyday
and the lives that hardly ever cross

starring at his paintings no different then past
all the same nothing really changed or out of place
glimpses of moments highlighted only gray in shades
nothing that capture or truely til the end last.

"what if i were to find a different color?"
the same as the lost thought, lost not so long
soft hues and tones neither weak nor strong
but just right in its comfort and splender

"where could i possibly look?"
for no color existed other than gray
for the word itself knows no other shade
maybe somewhere over the ashy brook?

Mr messy-head packed his bag
filled it with brushes and empty tins
two loafs of bread and an apple for later supping
and a big travelling hat with a tip that sag.

A place far off he wishes to go and see
a place beyond what is normal and safe
hopefully no where near the sea
a story deeply buried since he was a waife.

Last Friday Media night and Hafiz's Surprise Birthday party on Saturday :D

Ok on friday we totally hung out with the media at this place at Sunway Pyramid called AMP Square... basically it's cool karaoke place where you could just sit back and relax while singing off key to your favourite song... here are some photos.

Ok moving on to Saturday. What happened was Hafiz's family and his girl Azreen planned a birthday party for him at a cafe in Taman Tun... I think he was surprised :D

An amazingly funny song Hani, and Hafi's other Siblings Ame and... man what was her name the one in red :( note the guy in blue playing the guitar is not related to them... he's just a guitar guy... but it was a funny song.

He was so happy... crazy or possessed...

Alrighty then... oh yeah her is something else that happened. A few weeks back i had formed my band all thanks to Jamie who recommended a drummer and a bassist who really fit the bill. We all also went to a gig in Hartamas area at this place called Lepaq.

My attempt at taking a panoramic shot... hmmmm. but the street was filled with rockers... i like :D been a long while since i've been to a known Fly Fm gig like this...

Yes and before i go... did everyone hear about Nadia's Speed dating thing? And i was Speed Dating contestant number 18 :D well the story is that a few dudes pulled out last minute so I had to fill in... Ten dates with ten different girls... a new record for me :D Bee bee if your reading this it was all for fun only nothing serious :( heheheeh me love you :D

Speed Dating Girl Number 2 : Kat during the after dating lunch... Aush is sitting in the background as Acap the web content editor for Fly Fm... he was there to Document everything.

Here in the photos you could see Nadia's "Stalker"... basically this guy was creeping everyone and especially Nadia, with supposedly how obsessed he was with Nadia... it was really creepy. In the end we found out he was a part time comedian and it wa a prank arranged by Phat Fabes and Adam Boy! Ok it was a really good one.

Why are we having a dinner get together i have no idea. Why was i at the office? Had a voice over and was invited by prem and juls to just have a random get together. Cool. Note to self upload all pictures on phone to blog running out of space lol.

It's 855am in the morning. I actually woke up at six and got ready so i wouldn't be late. Even got to watch one episode of house.

The only things is that they asked us not to use any hair products. I feel slightly naked :( til the next post cheers.

Just got a hair cut.

Earlier today i had Gone for Fly fm's pagi show speed dating at cineleisure area. It was amazingly fun, and i actually got to participate, as Amrita producer of the pagi show thought it would be fun :) Hmmm... Ten dates in one day now even for me that's a record lol. One of ti highlights was that there was this guy who was Nadia's stalker and basically had every girl and guy creeped out and fearing for Nadia but in the end we found out it was a prank done by phat fabes and adam i think, where they got this part time comedian to pretend he was Nadia's so called stalker lol. Heck even i was fooled, the even dummies thing was he was actually a really nice guy when he was not pretending to be a wierdo...



Then later on, i decided to get a new haircut for tomorrow's photoshoot for cleo's 50 most eligible bachelor. Apparently i made the short list which has seventy other people on it. Hope i'm not the twenty that they kick out. Now i'm going through my wardrobe and trying to figure out what to wear for tomorrow. The theme for this year is hip hop and graffiti street style. Dang i'm too rock for this lol. Wonder if i could get away with being rock and roll...or maybe i go all Fred Durst! Rolling rolling ! Hehehe.
